Check out the Niwot High School senior portraits we captured of Amalia. She is one of our Class of 2018 senior model reps for our studio. These photos are from one of her two senior sessions. While you are looking at her photos, get to know a little more about her with her interview questions.
Looking forward to my senior year: I am looking forward to being one of the leaders of my school and swim team. Also senior parking is going to be pretty nice!
My favorite thing to do in Colorado: is ski. Pretty much anything in the mountains actually. I love finding new adventure spots with all of my friends.
My dream vacation: would be a trip to Tokyo. I would eat at the best sushi restaurants, enjoy the city at night, and stay at the Palace Hotel Tokyo. I love big cities and have always had an interest in Japanese culture.
When I grow up: I want to be a pediatric surgeon. I enjoy working with/around kids and I am totally up for the challenge of medical school and the pressure of being a skilled surgeon.
My favorite musical artist: is Justin Bieber. He is so naturally talented and very cute of course. A dream of mine is definitely to go and see him in concert.
My favorite places to shop are: Free People, Urban Outfitters, and Target. I am always all for an adventure to Target with my friends.
My jam song is: “Kiss Me Thru the Phone” by Soulja Boy. It is a classic that brings back so many good memories. Also, it has such a great beat and lyrics to dance to. I definitely always play this song at parties and in the car with friends.
My all time favorite movies are: Monsters Inc. and Monters University. They are both so creative, fun, and cute. Monsters University is the sequel to Monsters Inc. and it just one of the rare times when the sequel actually lives up to the hype it got and was as good as the first. My favorite character in these movies is Mike Wazowsky cause he is very silly.
Some possible colleges for me are: University of San Diego, CU Boulder, and NYU. I will major in premed and I also plan on swimming for a college team.
I could not live without: my best friend, my phone, and my swimming.
One of my favorite traditions is: the state team dinner we have for my high school swim team. Typically only 15 girls will make the state team, so we all get together the night before and have a dinner at someone’s house. The house is always decorated with banners and good luck posters. We get our state jackets and pass out state gifts which are little things we bring for everyone on the team for good luck. Then at the end of the night we make state wishes; we write our goals on Chinese lanterns and then release them into the sky.
My favorite memory is: learning how to surf. I learned in Oregon when I was 13 years old. I remember getting a two hour lesson then spending another 6 hours after that on my own out in the waves.
In 10 years I envision: I will have finished medical school and will be applying for a residency program hopefully in a big city.
