Frequently Asked Questions

When should I schedule my session?
As early as possible!  Remember that you will have your photos taken the summer between your Junior and Senior years.  Most Colorado-area High Schools have yearbook photo deadlines in September and October, so we want to be sure to have plenty of time to get those together.  Also, the earlier in the summer you do your session the COOLER it is.  Since we only photograph 50 seniors a year, we book up pretty quickly.
Do you photograph session in your studio or on location?
Both!  We have a full studio in Downtown Denver equipped with lights, backdrops, brick walls, and a 10-foot long white leather couch to die for!  BUT…our studio is in the middle of the arts district in LoDo and our alleys are filled with some of the most vibrant graffiti, colors, textures and “urban vibe” around.  This is where the majority of our sessions take place.  If, however, you have a specific location in mind for your photos – we travel.  If you have a specific look you want for your session but don’t know locations we have plenty of places we can recommend to you, all in the Denver front range.  No matter where we shoot,  we want to make sure you have a variety of looks to show off your individual style.
How many outfits can I bring?
That depends upon the session you choose, but we encourage you to bring LOTS of options – we will help you choose the best variety of looks and the clothing that will photograph the best!  Remember, we want to make your senior portrait session the best experience it can be.
When do I pay for my session?
We require a signed contract and a $50 retainer to officially hold your session date and time. The remaining balance is due the day of your session. Our contracts are done online and you will be able to pay for both via credit card, Visa, Master Card, and Discover.
What if I need to reschedule my session?
Life happens, we know, so if you need to reschedule, please call us at least 24-48 hours in advance. Our session fees are non-refundable, but you may use it for a one-time reschedule (if called within the 24-48 hour window) to be scheduled within six months of your original appointment date.
What is a consultation?
The design consultation is where we plan YOUR session and decide what YOU want!  We’ll cover style, location, wardrobe, makeup, what you want to do with your final images – EVERYTHING.  While we don’t require an in-person consultation, we do highly recommend it if you are new to our studio. An in-person consultation allows us to meet you, you to meet us (which makes everything more comfortable) and it gives you a chance to see all of our products and start planning for your final images. If coming in to the studio for a consultation doesn’t work for you,  we can go over everything you need to know over the phone.  We just want to make sure that your senior portrait session is everything you want it to be and more!
