School is almost done, the senior class is about to move on to the next phase of their life, prom is coming, and the energy of the school is building. Recently I photographed Arapahoe High School‘s Fashion/Talent show. The room was electric with students and parents as we were presented with singing, dancing, slam poetry, and a fashion show put on by the students of Arapahoe High School. It was great to see two seniors in the show that we photographed. Leechelle belted out a beautiful song with an amazing voice. Have a feeling we will be seeing and hearing from her on the national level. Also, Kathryn one of our senior model reps was in the fashion show, with several outfit changes. Meet Kristen our Class of 2013 Model Rep. Kristen came ready to rock the camera with a ton of great outfits to choose from. Kristen, her mom, and I spent about two hours for her session with perfect weather, light, and green grass. You couldn’t have asked for a better Colorado day. If you know Kristen, she will have her model rep cards to have your senior photos done by Roka Studios, grab a card. Ali from Loveland High School is one of them.  I recently went on a mission trip to Haiti with our church, which Ali was on the trip too. There was a group of about 35 of us that went over there this past April. Several of the girls on the trip are now going to be Roka Studios senior model reps for us.

Ali, is just an incredible young women from Loveland High School. Her and her mom came out for her senior portrait session and we had a blast. We would have kept on going, except a wicked wind storm came through at the end of the session. It’s ok though, because Ali ROCKED the camera and we got so many great portraits of her. We will have one more session with her later this summer. Our senior model reps get two sessions in return for helping to promote Roka Studios. Next time we will be incorporating her dance skills into her session which I am looking forward to.

Taylor is a rep from Rocky Mountain High School in Fort Collins and we did her session in Loveland. Here are some of my favorite portraits from the session. She will have her rep cards in hand soon. Nicole is one of our senior rep’s from Lakewood High School. Lakewood High School is one of our most photographed school for seniors. Nicole is full of energy and a ball to be around. Nicole came with her prom dress and her cowgirl outfits ready to go, which was awesome. She even brought her sister along which was great to catch up and see what she has been up to since she graduated. Hope is the first model rep to be photographed this year for us. We have so many more senior model reps to photograph in the next coming weeks and can’t wait to share them with you. Hope attends Niwot High School in Boulder County. We went to a downtown Denver loft for her senior portraits and she was such a natural in front of the camera.
